This past weekend included visiting the De Pere Fire Station, Sam and Amanda’s Wedding and our first night away from Belle. It wasn’t easy leaving our baby for the first time, but she got to enjoy a night we with Nana and Papa. Jason and I are so grateful to have such an amazing support system thanks to our family members.  Below are some pictures of our trip to the fire station and from the wedding… And in case you were wondering, on Sunday I didn’t put Belle down from the moment she got home and the Packers beat the Texans!

Welcome to my blog, its official! Along with my website, it’s my intention to use this blog as  a documentary for my friends and family. This is especially important to me since my husband and I recently welcomed our baby girl into the world. So whether or not people are reading this, I hope those who do enjoy!  

I figured for my first officially entry I would introduce Isabelle “Belle” Rae Hicks. She’s my husband and mine’s first daughter together and the most amazing miracle. It’s true what they say about having a child; you become consumed by a love that you never thought possible. Belle is an incredible blessing and a wonderful addition to our family. Here are some pictures of her including one that captures her first month’s journey and some with a pumpkin that my dad surprised us with from the local farmer’s market.
